Mailbomb – Fast, Friendly and Affordable Email Newsletters

Tags Email Marketing,Obligatory Youtube Video - posted by Court on 19 Oct, 2009 05:52 pm

So our launch prediction was more than a little off, but those extra 2 months meant we got everything perfect and ready for primetime.

So without further ado – hear ye, hear ye:

    mailbomb

    www.mailbomb.co.nz

Like all of our software, we’ve built Mailbomb from the ground up to be affordable, feature-rich and exceptionally easy to use.

    Why?

Using a newsletter manager like Mailbomb is seriously a no-brainer. If you have a decent list of email subscribers (and want it to grow) you’ll be stunned at the response that a professional mailout gets – especially for such little investment.

    Where?

Be sure to check out the website and drop us a line if you want to be part of the action – we’re more than happy to provide demonstrations. We already have a few dozen business owners that are sending out beautiful newsletters weekly and are absolutely stoked with the results. Stay tuned for case studies.

    How Much?

Not much. $300 gets you up and running and after that its just a low per-email rate. Hit up the pricing page for more info.

    Special Opening Special Special Deal!

Sign up before the end of November and get 500 mail credits free! Save over $50! Click here to sign up now!

We’re really happy with how Mailbomb turned out and look forward to nuturing another thoroughbred into the MaxGen stable.

I’m not entirely sure why I ended with a horse metaphor. I’m just so excited!

    Merry Christmas

Just a heads up about our Christmas hours:

We’ll be out of the office from the 23rd of December and back again from the 5th of January. During that time we’ll still be responding to all urgent support calls and emails.

Have a great Christmas and New Years everyone, catch you all next year.

Making your photos better, the easy way

Tags Obligatory Youtube Video,Website Design - posted by Danilo Cort on 13 Jul, 2007 04:55 pm

In this post, Danilo Cortazio is going to give you tips on using Google’s Picasa, a free image editing and storage application for Windows.

A lot of clients are always asking us how to manage their photos in an easy and fast way. We used to refer them to Photoshop or Fireworks, which are very good no doubt. But honestly they are very difficult to deal with for the average user. There is also Photoshop Album and ACDSee, but even these easier ones can’t compare to the simplicity of Picasa.

Google acquired Picasa and began offering the software for free download. In particular, it is one of my favourite pieces software for practical and fast usability. It’s definitely intuitive enough for even the greenest of computer newbies. I highly recommend the app for those who want to have better results with the quality of the pictures on their website. For a free download, click on the link below and also check out these two tutorials explaining how to use Picasa.

    Boys and girls,

In the coming weeks we’re gonna have various MaxGen Media team members posting in this very blog what they know about certain Web technologies. This is going to coincide the our release of the videos in the Touch section (which are admittedly taking longer than expected). For example, at one stage someone will make a post regarding Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and what it means for you, the Web consumer. Then I’ll get one of the boys to give you a run down on Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and why tableless Websites are more better than the other kind. Either way these PSAs will be in plain English and will be intended to help you better understand what we do at MaxGen.

So yeah, James Brown singing Sunny.

    Flight of the Conchords

    Tags General,Obligatory Youtube Video,Press - posted by Court on 01 Jun, 2007 01:42 pm

    Afternoon team.

Big hello to visitors from the various CSS gallery sites that we’ve submitted our new design to. Hope you’re liking the look. We’re still going to implement the switchable themes eventually, but we aren’t calling that priority number one. Those videos I mentioned in the last post should be up shortly, so you wont have to hear my voice much longer.

Anyways, here’s something I came across the other day. Kiwi “folk parody” duo Flight of the Conchords have a deal with HBO in the states to air their show in whats going to be the hole left when The Sopranos finishes up for good in a couple of weeks time. Big shoes to fill. Either way, the pilot below has promise. Classic deadpan stuff.

    Check this out guys.

It could be nice to be alive

It’s taken a bit longer than we thought, but MaxGen Media site (5.0?) is all livened up, chock full tasty treats for you to sink your Web-hungry teeth into. We’re gonna be slowly but surely adding the videos to the Touch section, which is essentially a run through of the basics of XSIS. One part tutorial, two parts explanation, all parts awesome and youtubey. Yeah I know the first video is a bit amateur night but it’s more or less a placeholder until the fancy ones are done.

We’re also going to be updating the Work page soon with some of the more recent sites we’ve been working on. If we can pry ourselves away from Guitar Hero 2 that is.

    Premature

Tags General,Obligatory Youtube Video - posted by Court on 07 May, 2007 12:47 pm

Forgot to mention, at this stage this site hasn’t been officially launched yet. So if you’ve found yourself here somehow, you’re premature. Get over to the current MaxGen Media site. And don’t come back ’till we’re done testing, which should be around the 9th of May. 11th of May.

In the meantime, here’s something to keep you entertained:

So fresh and so clean, clean

    Tags General,Obligatory Youtube Video,Press - posted by Court on 03 May, 2007 09:20 am

Behold the new MaxGen Media site, complete with blog. We’re still on the “Web 2.0″vibe, packing clean lines, rounded corners, reflections and whatnot but this time we’ve dumped in a whole lot more content (and videos!) and in general made it easier to read. Yeah the text is a bit sassy, but I prefer it over the very corporate sounding stuff we had before.

We also aim to multiple CSS themes for this version of the site. Meaning we’re gonna have a little button on the bottom of the page eventually which when clicked, makes everything look all different like. Just wait a few weeks and you’ll know what I mean.

Anyways tell us what you think of the new look. We’re excited, and you should be too.

But for now lets break it down with some French electro-funk: Justice – D.A.N.C.E.

Have a topic that you want covered?

Send us an email and we'll try to write a blog post about it. Only if it's a good topic of course.
